1 ★ The app doesn't every notice the device. I got the infrared thermometer and it only says failed to connect to network. This was a waste of time and most of all money.

1 ★ App causes telephone to lock up. I accept this app installed on my Galaxy Note 8 and iPhone 6s. Both devices take issues recognizing the Laser level and on my Note 8, when I finally does, the app freezes. The crosshairs of the level are present, but that'southward it.

1 ★ I have the laser level. Useless. Fortunately I only paid $10. At the time it was much more from about sources. It works great when I'one thousand just playing. If I really want to use information technology: the app won't notice my telephone; it detects, simply says battery is dead, so battery is full, only laser still won't turn on; or it turns on, but the position readout lags by five to 10 seconds; information technology reads "level" even when moved a few degrees. The app hangs, then works; I return to my project and it hangs once more. Don't bother. Seriously disappointed.

4 ★ Works fine with a Moto G7 (Android Pie), if you have some patience and a steady manus. Bought the laser measuring device at the local Habitation Depot for $30 as it was the cheapest bachelor in the store and gave it a whirl. It takes 30-60 seconds for the device to return an initial measurement, then when borer the measure push button it retakes the measurement requiring another 30-60 seconds, and then I tin can understand the frustrations of some users that suggest the app is locking up (it's not, it's retaking the measurement). I took some room measurements in my flat and compared to a regular tape measure, and the measurements were spot on. Only downside besides the measuring time is that registering an account doesn't work (it can exist skipped though and the device tin can be used without registering an account, contrary to what it says on the packaging).

1 ★ Nevermind how hard information technology was to really get the hardware to piece of work, the app is terrible on its ain! Information technology cannot connect to login from whatever device and information technology seems to become screen loops almost every time you move to a new screen. The interface and directions are non intuitive at all so this really adds to making you wonder if you are doing something wrong or if it is the app failing. After a lot of troubleshooting, I was able to get the Infrared Thermometer attachment to be detected. This did not work the first few tries as the device'southward included AAA battery ended up having plastic in addition to the initial covering over one side. In one case peeled off with tweezers, my telephone was able to find the device. The new problem is that once yous select the laser arrow to measure out, the app freezes with 5-ten seconds. If you look long plenty, it goes back to the device info screen where information technology then fails to find the device. Information technology requires you to disconnect the device from your phone and kill the app. As I have not been able to move frontwards from here, I hope that Ryobi takes the fourth dimension to fix the product they are continuing to sell in stores.

2 ★ I love the the blaringly loud clicking, peculiarly when I have the Ryobi Headphones on.🙄 Seriously though, this app needs a lot of work if they are trying to launch a line of tools/accessories effectually it. edit: The headphone portion doesn't work if the screen goes black. I can't piece of work efficiently if I'm going to constantly accept to worry about keeping my screen on. Poor app pattern. Simply reason this review is a ii star instead of ane is because I haven't tried all the tools for Phone Works.

1 ★ Errors during registration. App freezes. If you unplug the laser level before forcing the app to shut down, considering closing doesn't work either, phone emits a horrible screech. Come on Ryobi, give me a laser level with a bubble and an on/off switch. Y'all're clearly out of your depth here. Skip the gimmicks and stick to producing inexpensive, pretty reliable gear. The performance of this app and it's requirement to use the other devices has precluded me from buying any thing else in this line.

1 ★ Very disappointing to say the least. I picked up the laser distance measuring tool. I was pretty excited but the app does non piece of work. The buttons freeze up, when attempting to access the transmission the app stops working, I was unable to annals online. I should take read the reviews prior to purchasing. Even more than frustrating is that Ryobi is ignoring all the poor reviews! Waste matter of money, going to return this asap. Big disappointment, if worked equally advertised information technology would have been really cool.

one ★ doesn't piece of work. I've tried it out on 8 different phones from old to new. I've tried nearly 10 dissimilar sets of batteries. tried every suggestion on how others got information technology to work. I returned the product and swapped it out for some other. I fifty-fifty took the new device apart to make sure the soldering connections were good. I guess the next step would be to diagnose it with an arduino setup. only seriousely, I am a ryobi fan and had a lot of confidence in the company. until I bought these. now I just dont know

ane ★ TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE I endeavor to see around glitches and minor problems with complex devices, simply this app shames the Ryobi product line. I am probably also patient, spending too much time trying to make things work - I encounter information technology as a claiming. All the same, the inconsistencies in the performance of this app with the connected devices makes it a waste material of time (and, in this case, money). Save your money and time - don't bother.

v ★ I don't sympathize all the negative reviews. I have many Ryobi tools and am very impressed. I take the dual genset with the app (works amazingly). I gear up upwardly the inspection photographic camera scope to work with my galaxy annotation eight in approximately v minutes. The thing works perfectly. I volition be using it in the field tomorrow and will follow up if I run into any problems. Picture seems fine in my testing and so far. I did not register the product and hit the 'Skip' button, if that info helps anyone. Skilful luck!

one ★ The Ryobi software won't recognize whatever of the Ryobi measurement devices I take. Whether their software is incompetently written or their hardware is lacking I don't know, the terminate result is the same: zero. This seemed like such a swell thought that promised to be very useful. Too bad none of them piece of work and the only matter I can practise is throw out the Ryobi measurement devices I bought. Bottom line: If you want to contribute cloth to our land fills, and so these Ryobi devices are a skillful choice because choices because they're fairly minor.

1 ★ First few times I used this app it seemed to work bully. I found information technology a bit confusing how to save pictures and dimensions into a folder but the quick light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation measurements were extremely convenient for my work as an interior designer. Even so, while at a new clients dwelling house I was using the device/app and it was not beingness responsive. My full bombardment tuckered in a matter of fifteen minutes while trying to measure a space leaving me with no tool for measuring or photographing. Embarrassing and plush problem!

ane ★ Couldn't register, called back up. They said you lot can't annals through the app, that it doesn't work. If their support is saying that, you know they don't care to fix it. One time using the thermometer looking for air leaks. The first temperature works, then the app freezes and crashes. It does it every fourth dimension. I can't believe Ryobi sold this. Information technology should be recalled and Ryobi should reimburse anybody. I but can't get past a major name in tools would release this knowing it does not piece of work.
